Hello to everyone,
We thank you for your interest in visiting our website. For your information, we are located near Calvert, Texas, about 30 minutes north of Bryan/College Station. It is a small Victorian, Historical town. Like other small towns, this  area also has some interesting places to offer you, such as the bed and breakfast inns, the antique stores along main street and some good eating places too.

We started the farm in 2009 and are currently farming on a 10 acre plot. We have a variety of vegetables, blackberries,  and heritage pork to offer. Our blackberries are ready for harvest next year starting in May so come with your family and do your pick-your-own berries, make sure you bring your camera, closed toe shoes, long sleeve shirts and hats. Whatever you have in mind for the berries, it could be used for all year around, frozen, make into preserve/jelly or cobbler, we have plenty for you. For more information regarding them, please refer to the what is available on the farm page. We practice natural and sustainable farming . We do not use any type of spray on our berries.

We are a family run farm. We decided to start farming when I got laid off from my job in 2008, and we will appreciate your patronage. In fact, we had farming in mind a long time ago but this is the right time for us to do it, instead of collecting unemployment compensation. We are so excited about it and hope to share the natural bountiful harvest with you. So, if you are concerned about what you eat, this is the place for you to get your fresh produce, pork and beef, we will provide the safest produce/meats for you and us too. See you here sometime soon.

About the name of our place. When I was a child I was reading a book that was telling about my family a couple hundred years ago and they were referred to as Planters, not Farmers. Some of you may remember the Banks were "Planters and Mercantile" Banks. Eat fresh, healthy, clean and local food and at the same time buying from us it means you are supporting your small, local, hard working  Farmers. Thank you so much to all of you who had been our loyal customers and we hope to continue serving you with good fresh, clean, safe and healthy local food always. 979-224-3453. During the Blackberry season our farm hours are:  7 Days a week, Daylight till Dark.
